There comes a time in everyone’s life when we step out of childhood and walk into our adult lives. But for Sophie Morgan, a rebellious and incorrigible wild child, the day she arrived at this long-awaited precipice, would be the day her life and her body changed forever.
Driving Forwards is a ground-breaking and powerful memoir, detailing Sophie’s astonishing journey from the moment she woke up in intensive care to where she is today, one of the only disabled television presenters in the world. Strikingly honest and at times unflinching, Sophie’s story could be described as the experience of women everywhere but wildly amplified; a story that explores how to find identity, self-acceptance, meaning, purpose, love and ultimately, empowerment after a life-changing event.
